Tranmere story
Brad Walker is an English midfielder from Billingham who came through Hartlepool United’s academy, having supported the club as a boy. He made his senior debut for Pools before continuing his Football League career with Crewe Alexandra, Shrewsbury Town and Port Vale, with loan spells at Wrexham.
Walker helped Port Vale win promotion through the League Two play-offs in 2021–22. He joined Tranmere Rovers from Vale for an undisclosed fee in January 2023, then returned to Hartlepool when his Tranmere contract expired in 2025.
